Myke Clarkson has spent his life researching, photographing, and working with the animals many people fear and or loathe--snakes. Fear can often be a sensible reaction to some of the animals Myke deals with. Less than two years ago a risky antivenom research project cost him his left thumb and nearly his life. Some could have seen this injury as the opportune time to hang up the snake hook and retire, but instead Myke has taken it to a whole new level. Myke is now traveling to more countries than before, and working on several major television programs as an Animal Handler and Consulting Producer. While away Myke is still taking more award winning Photographs than ever before, and even squeezing some time in for some humanitarian Antivenom Research with AVRI. To Myke this isn't a job, it's not a hobby, it's a passion that he hopes to share with the world.

Myke Clarkson just wrapped up shooting on "Venom In Vegas". On this shoot Myke worked
with Wild Recon's Devon Massyn, and as a Snake Handler. Over 100 snakes, many deadly, were placed in a small glass hotel room on the Vegas strip where host Donald Schultz lived for 10 days.
